I’m fucking born and raised in Toronto, the most culturally diverse city in the world. I know 7 different languages, and have taken countless electives on different cultures, religions, even on racism and prejudice. I’ve indulged in Asian culture, Greek culture, Italian culture, Spanish culture, Middle Eastern culture, you fucking name it and I guarantee you, I know more about it than you do.
When did pointing out a nationality constitute as racism? I don’t know where you’re from, but where I’m from, this doesn’t imply any negative connotations. They’re my friends, and they don’t take offence to me calling them Asian because, let’s face it, THEY ARE. So now here’s what you do.
